Mortal Kombat 1 Review (🅰🅽🅳🆁)

This is a review for the Khaos Reigns dlc, we all already know mk1 feels lackluster in general.
I will cut it right to the chase, don't buy the Khaos Reigns expansion, get the characters individually.
The dlc campaign is the most rushed and uninteresting piece of crap i have ever seen and surely belongs to the list of one of the worst campaigns this franchise had. I would like to begin by saying that the devs still have not learned about good rewards. The expansion rewards you with lame cosmetics, terrible color palettes, artwork, stages which are decent and a couple announcers: Noob and Havik, so you won't be missing much.
The whole story is rushed from the beginning to end, where in certain scenes characters that were fighting will just skip to being captured, downed or just disappear from existence until further notice. Havik as a villain in this story feels odd, there is nothing special about him he is just a lazy re-skinned Havik with an army of lazy re-skinned re-used characters that look cringy af and want to spread chaos.
Seriously, Havik in this dlc feels like a reboot of Meat than an actual Havik. The outfit and all of Havik's powers just scream Meat to me, being able to remove limbs and grow them back is something Meat would do whereas Havik would just crack his bones.
Anyways, the campaign allows you to play as the three main characters of this dlc: Sektor, Cyrax and later on Noob Saibot. But not just them, the story also wants you to play as alternative versions of characters like Tanya and Rain (which are there to replace what it feels like Jade and Kotal Kahn) these 2 alternative versions are literally what Jade and Kotal (or maybe Sindel and Shao) were supposed to be except Tanya and Rain are together as empress and emperor, they come from a different dimension which is why this would make sense, but that does not mean it is interesting. The story tries to focus on these 2 characters for a bit and tries to make dramatic scenes that end up just being mediocre, to the point that after so much chatter and boring events you end up wanting to beat the sh*tshow of a campaign Khaos Reigns is.
Btw the final boss fight is just Havik with a hadouken move, lazy a$$ devs
