Night Reverie Review (keelyjk)
WARNING: THIS GAME INCLUDES MOMENTS OF A FLASHING SCREEN AND MOMENTS OF THE SCREEN SUDDENLY GOING BRIGHT WHITE
Unfortunately, I don't see a warning about this anywhere - I would highly encourage them to add a screen stating such prior to the game
Other than that, the game is overall a short and relaxing game. The "puzzles" are very simply, mostly just finding an object and putting it where it goes, but there are some more unique varieties of puzzles throughout. The visuals are cute and I didn't experience any bugs.
For the first 90% of the game, there really isn't any story and the dialogue dragged on a bit. I found towards the end I would skip through some of the repetitive dialogue. The last 10% of the game is where an actually storyline was introduced and concluded. At that point, I struggled to find how the last 10% actually connected to the game play in the first 90%. I think it would've been better or made more sense if the characters were switched around.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend the game for those looking for a rich storyline. But if you're your looking for a relaxing game where you just do some simple puzzles then I think this would be a good game for you.
