Overcooked! 2: Campfire Cook Off Review (k3rnel)
Unfortunately this is the worst expansion to Overcooked 2 for two reasons:
- Most levels are evidently designed only with a party of 4 in mind, without much care what happens when 2 people are playing
- the original game and other expansions tend to push you to figure out the right workflow, this one focuses on laying annoying dexterity-based traps and making you grind for points needing near-perfect execution in order to advance to next levels. This turns the game from the originally pleasant mindbender into a thoroughly unpleasant frustration grinder.
Unfortunately it seems like the team behind this DLC ran out of ideas of how to make OC2 challenging so they just went for making you grind for it. Which might be fun for some people, but it effes up the experience for everybody else.
