Payday 2: Hostile Takeover Heist Review (RockTex)

This heist is not that great, I didn’t technically pay for it as I bought the Bundle for this Campaign, but I don’t think it’s worth 7€ you have to pay for it. For loud it’s pretty underwhelming and can be done within 8 minutes without trying that much on Death Wish for DSOD I have no idea. I don’t play the difficulty often but I would imagine that it probably won’t take that long on that difficulty either if you know what you are doing. Stealth is irritating. If you go loud before you even enter the building you have to drill for 90 seconds for some reason? Then you have to find 3 things for evidence, saw through a box to get the main loot and then go in a Lab for documents which are four seperate bags, even though in all other heists we just picked them up, then you secure them and blow up the Lab and escape. There is apperantly a turret? But if you are fast enough you can escape before the escape disapears so you don’t even have to deal with it. For Stealth, it seemed decent on my first run but after going through the heist a second time so many issues revealed themselfs. The whole "you can do objectives in whatever order you want." Does not come into play. Atleast not for me. In loud you can start the Saw at the start of loud instead of when it becomes the current objective I guess? Maybe with multiple people you can have someone go into the Lab at the start, I have no idea.
The heist feels like a really badly remade Golden Grin Casino for Stealth but also combined with the Stealth design of the past few heists. Which is: Run from floor to floor, dodging 2 Guards that loop next to each other on 2 floors and offices full of Civilians that roam around and the guards also go into those. All Guards have pagers unlike some of the past heists. There is honeslty just way too many Civilians and Guards. Overkill seems to have decided that this makes Stealth harder, but it just makes it irritating. For the objectives I already mentioned them, the Documents being four bags is dumb, instead of blowing up the lab you have to shoot microscopes which is not told to you. All you get told when the objective starts is the contractor saying "Oh I can't wait 'till you break all her toys." Shooting the microscopes might be obvious, but objectives like these are usually communicated, so why wasn't it this time? And the RNG objective. One of the last objectives is that you have to stop guards from figuring out what you did. The guards are civilians which is whatever. But why is the RNG where the guards spawn, they spawn either across the map or next to you. On each side they go into a small building where you can dispose of them instantly anyways. So what's the point?
Heist is like a 6.5/10, which is fine, but you can get better Heists/DLCs for this price in my opinion, I probably expected more because compaired to the City of Gold campaign all the heists in that campaign were really good. This campaign so far has been nothing special. If you can get it cheaper go for it but as it is right now I don’t recommend it.
