Poly Bridge Review (tallo)

There are some really frustrating elements about this game that ruin the engineering required to build bridges. unclear if these are addressed in future versions.
it has to do with sequencing of articulating structures.
this game requires you to build certain bridge sections speculatively. let me explain.
in some circumstances, the first operation is a boat crossing, followed by the hydraulic sequence.
this is simply not how bridges are designed. this forces you to build a crossing up into the air and then just guess about the articulation. from an engineering standpoint, this is profoundly backwards.
you can adjust the hydraulic (articulating) sequence only by including or excluding certain elements from steps, but you cannot add articulating for the sequence. if the boat crosses first, you cannot force the road to move first, then allow the boat. you have to just build up into the air and hope trial and error until it can allow the boat and then pretend to be a road,
this isn't how bridges are designed, and i have to believe the developers understand this. I cant imagine a motivation for undermining the process like this. in reality, drawbridges are vehicular crossings that move to allow boats, in this game you have to design boat crossings that then become roads. its so upside down i cant stomach it,
