Post Void is a brutal, retro style FPS, with beautiful, pixelated, stylized graphics. It is a challenging arcade style shooter with 11 levels, each level taking no more than a minute to beat. However, since the game is so difficult, it might take you hundreds of runs and a good few hours to finally beat the game. Every time you beat a level you get to pick a new upgrade, whether it be more health or a new gun, but every time you die you completely reset. Normally I find mechanics like these quite anooying, but the combat in Post Void is much fun I found myself losing track of time and instantly pressing restart whenever I died.
Beating the game doesn't have to be the end; there is a leaderboard system and and scoring system. Once you beat the game, you can start replaying it to try to get as many head shots as possible, get the highest accuracy, take no hits, or whatever it takes to get the highest score possible. The game is also very good for speedrunning and has a somewhat active speedrunning community if you are into that.
This game is loads of fun, and is one of my favorite games of all time. I'd probably place it somewhere in my top 10, and cannot recommend it enough.
