PowerWash Simulator: SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack Review (charbug)
I mostly enjoyed this DLC pack. The recreation of the artistic style of the show in 3D ends up working really well in PWSim.
I think they did a great job with Conch Street, though I wish you could enter Squidward's House, if not all three. I know Spongebob's house is kinda impossible, but I think they could've done a compact interpretation of Squidwards living room and upstairs shower/bedroom, with his clarinet and opening eye-windows.
Being at Rock Bottom was a cool environment and definitely took me back to that episode. Other than that, I don't think it was the best level and could've been replaced with something a lot more interesting like Sandy's globe-home.
I like the Patty Wagon and thought the Invisible Boatmobile was a cool visual trick but obviously an invisible boat can only be so memorable. I think a lot of the details in the Mermalair were cool to look at, though things like the weapon wall, giant monitor and support beams became a bit tedious after awhile.
I understand the pricing complaints, I think if their baseline price for DLC was around 4-5.99 could make it feel a bit more bang for your buck. I know for sure, the Back to the Future DLC needs to be around 3.99 ASAP.
Overall/TL;DR - Worth it personally and would recommend it for any Spoonboob/PWSim fan.
Wait for sale if it doesn't feel worth the price.
