Project Winter Review (Crimsony)
Good game however it can be very challenging for newcomers as it takes a lot of effort for the survivors to actually win. Though I do think it's balanced as a competent survivor team could definitely take out a competent traitor team so while it is harder for the survivor team to win, it makes sense that it should be more difficult for them. I would like more different neutral roles to be in the game or make the optional goals for the survivor more complex and unique than just "poison 3 food" or "lay a landmine" or "lay tripwire". It'd be interesting if the survivors had individual goals that might conflict with other survivors and thus lead to natural conflict within the survivor team. For example, "don't let person x escape" or "feed poison berries to person x" or for more survivor role specific goals "hack multiple switches", "avoid manually opening shelters instead of hacking them", or "kill x person and bring them back using the Lazarus machine". To avoid potentially having these goals accidentally confirm person x as being good the person could be truly random (as in traitors can get picked) or the goal won't pick a specific targeted person. Essentially these goals shouldn't just be benign or neutral goals, they should be similar to character flaws or selfish goals that will cause conflict and suspicion among the survivors. At least I feel that would be an interesting way of shaking up games and could make it a bit harder for competent teams to come together as they would have to or want to fulfill their hidden goals. Whether these goals should be mandatory or just better incentivized for players I would personally be fine with either one.
TL;DR the game is fun but could be difficult to new players and I wish there were more complexities and dynamics to the social deception part of the game and the subsequent roles.
