Project Winter Review (hasues)
This is a tough game to rate. First, I want to rate the game on what it is. It's a social deception game that is not in a party game format giving the traitor (impostor/bad guy) a strong chance because as the game progresses they get stronger. It allows for objectives like other games, but it requires cooperation as a team to complete them. You can use crafting if you don't trust anyone which takes longer, or you can open bunkers with people to get the parts you need which is much faster. The game has good sound, nice graphics, good aesthetics, and there are a lot of cosmetics available for playing to allow one to craft identity. The game is 3 parts murder 1 part fashion. It has a passionate community, and one can get directly involved in it by joining the company's Discord.
Unfortunately, this game has a lot of cons which is why I can't usually recommend it until the userbase gets larger. If you don't have a regular gaming group, you will be waiting a long time to join games. Also, there are questionable actions that people feel are reportable offenses that the game should instead have mechanics to force a certain play style. These things are debated often, and even though there are positions that have been indicated are playing the game incorrectly, there are awards and achievements obtained for playing it the specific way. The bottom line is, if you want to buy this game, only buy it if you have seven other friends/peeps that want to play it with you because you can guarantee to get along with those people to enjoy the game and not get involved in the drama surrounding how to play it. There are a lot of technical issues with the game that aren't game enders like crashes, but terrain obstacles that make one stop during run because the graphics aren't clear on what prevents one from crossing an area.
The TLDR: Great game if you play it with a group you know, but you take a chance if you can even play it if you want to play it in general.
