Shantae Review (Kleinaroo)
What I love :
- The OST, like pretty much every other Shantae game, is a banger
- The graphics are great
- The different game modes are appreciated
- It's a great platformer, just like its predecessors
- The story is quirky and fun
What I dislike :
- There are no autosaves and you can't save everywhere, which means that if you die, have the game crash on you or have a power outage; well you're outta luck, gotta re-do everything since the last time you manually went to a save location.
- Some of the enemies are just straight up super annoying for the sake of being annoying
Overall :
If you loved Shantae games before, this one should be no different. If you never played one but like platformers, you'd probably love it as well. It's just a solid game, same recipe, same enjoyment.
