Sonic Superstars Review (Exode)

EDIT: comments were once enabled, but I have disabled them on behalf of the few positive commenters who started to get harassed. I wanted to have some good discussions about the positives and negatives, but after I saw someone come to me about how someone in these comments went to harass their wall, I opted to disable them.
If Denuvo causes you problems, don’t get this.
If you do not want Epic installed, do not get this.
100%, don’t buy this at full price.
If none of these concerns apply to you, then by all means, continue reading.
Many of these people are giving negative reviews not even half an hour in because of the online play pop-up and Denuvo. Yes, the former is annoying and the latter is just unnecessary, but does that make the ENTIRE game a "total mess" like some people are saying, and comparable to Sonic 4? I'm about 3 hours in and I can safely say, NO. It's a VERY inoffensive game. It's far from perfect, but far from terrible. It's a solid game, not worth the asking price, but certainly a decent game. It's simple and it's fun, and I'd much closer relate it to Sonic the Hedgehog than I would Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (either episode), as both have issues but are still harmless fun.
As of the edits, I have finished the game and still stand behind what I said. Too short, sorta flawed, and too pricey, but lots of fun regardless.
These problems stated throughout these reviews are OBVIOUSLY still issues and no one is arguing otherwise. However, if you simply care about seeing about the game itself rather than those aspects, then yes, it’s a good, fun game, albeit short.
If you’re reading this and you had any issues with any of the prior things, that’s perfectly valid, and understandable. If you had a bad experience, no one can take that from you. But at the same time, if anyone enjoys the game, the same can be applied for them.
I’d like to finish with something to say to anyone adamant about Denuvo:
Don’t go around harassing people who reviewed positively on their profile walls like I have seen people do. That’s more harmful to your cause than any positive review could ever be. If you don’t do that, good. You’re not the problem people I’m targeting this last part at. Go about your day however you wish, and have fun with what you want to. But if you do harass people for liking something that happens to have it, consider that maybe you’re going a bit overboard. Denuvo is a plague upon a good chunk of PC gamers, but you won’t be gaining any traction in stopping it by attacking the consumers who have no issues with it.
