SpookWare Review (Vergil Angelo)
While I am a big fan of WarioWare, I feel like this game lacks the same feel to its controls that make the game so much more intuitive. Instructions and visuals can feel vague, such as the one where I am told to pick a lock, which took some trial and error to complete. Often the games themselves either feel like they take too long or have not enough time for the player to understand their objective, which runs contrary to the concept of microgames. The clickable areas are not very clearly displayed, and using a controller is not advised, as the game is not designed for stick and button based interaction. I appreciate the visual style, the music, and the writing, but much of it prevents me from playing the aspect of the game I came for, the fast-paced microgames.
