Tentacular Review (Captin)
A hidden VR gem. Devolver Digital has made some hilarious games in the past and it's interesting to see a weird game from them, a VR game on top of that.
Playing as some sort of a lost Kraken, you befriend a small village of people and help them sort out their problems while trying to sort out who you are. They essentially teach you the basics and then let you go from there to solve each situation you're called into in a create way. Some players might find certain missions fun or frustrating, depending on how you want to play. I only ran into a few of these missions and it was mostly because I accidentally bumped something or was overthinking the solution. Most players will likely get frustrated with the magnets and how they attach permanently to literally anything they touch unless you destroy them.
There's also a sandbox mode which I think is a really neat idea for more creative players.
The visual presentation of this game is really well done for VR, the world is very small but keeps everything within reach without being overcrowding. Controls are simple but your ability to control is clumsy at best, on purpose. Also, those ending credits were a sharp idea.
