Terra Nil Review (Spvwvky)

While I did enjoy the experience, it was a mild enjoyment that I cannot recommend at full price due to the lack of content and depth. I would suggest you wait for a sale for many reasons. Games like this are why I wish the recommendation system wasn't so strict on forcing you to choose yes or no with no middle-ground options.
The game concept is certainly interesting, but the problem is that it lacks depth and falls short. I was able to 100% the whole game, with bonus levels, achieving all optional goals, and 6/6 animals on all maps in just over 5 hours. This is including time spent troubleshooting the numerous bugs I ran into that required me to reload multiple times.
Bugs aren't a huge issue as those should be fixed soon, but as I said the game lacks depth. It was a very easy game start to finish, which might be what you're looking for, but if you want a challenge then skip this one.
Tbh the most strategic depth this game had for me was being required to do things they don't flat-out tell you for some levels, such as:
1. Building a solar plant will melt snow in a radius around it immediately.
2. You can use a dehumidifier to dry out grass tiles in a radius to make them flammable when you lack trees.
Overall I find myself walking away from this one feeling unimpressed. It was not a memorable experience. I certainly think it needed to be longer with more content. 4 main levels and 4 bonus levels that are just slightly harder versions of the main levels is not enough to justify a $25 release imo. Maybe $15 - $20,
TL;DR: 8 Levels, giving 4-6 Hours of gameplay - for 25 Dollars? Idk about that one chief. I can't say this one is worth it full price, especially considering the game is essentially the same 4 levels, twice in a row.
