The Blind Prophet Review (owlsten)
The Blind Prophet is a good looking game but unfortunately the design aspects of the game are lacking. Too often is there needless backtracking and from the very beginning the game overwhelms you with a large amount of locations and things to interact with that simply don't do anything.
This is a game that more often than not says no when you are trying to interact with something, or rather it is a game that has to say no constantly because there is so much stuff to interact with that just doesn't do anything. This is further compounded by the fact that it gives you the option of interacting in one of four ways with an object which means you have to click four times each time you want to make sure that an object is just there as a decoration.
The writing could be better, there's a lot of exposition and characters suddenly changing their personality.
Again it is a very stylish game but unfortunately I can't recommend it like this.
