This game can be summed up as "Do you want to have important and meaningful choices that affect the course of the game? lol Why don't you tell me instead if you'd like to use a pan or toaster to make your bread."
I couldn't not recommend this game enough. The choices are absolutely lackluster and you can never tell which way they will go. Vast majority of choices is like "Do you want to use a crowbar or hammer?" and then they take you in exactly the same direction with absolutely no difference beyond one scene where you hold the said item OR they lead you through a completely different route that WASN'T affected by your item at all. This game laughs at you attempting to use logic and reason and throws the most ridiculous and out of nowhere plot twists at the weirdest moments.
The story is very subpar and you have very little control in what your character is actually going through. It felt like watching a film where I could choose what the character will have for breakfast and that was about it. The only slightly significant plot changes that you can make basically wary between "be a total asshole for absolutely no reason" and "be a normal human being just trying to get out". There's absolutely no reason to go for the bad guy option unless you want to test out where it will take you. I really wish the game provided more ambiguity and make the options worthy of actually choosing.
Another gripe I had is that for how the bad guy tries to convince you they're right, and they actually use solid arguments, and for the heavily relationship based the game is, you actually can't choose anything other than being a strongly moral person. It feels like Mass Effect series all over again where the only "evil" choices you can make are basically being a petty douchebag without even a reason.
Total rating I would give this is 4/10. I wish I could refund this game, it definitely wasn't worth what I paid for it.
