The Jackbox Party Pack 10 Review (ToastPresident)
The Jackbox Party Pack 10 is another very solid pack in the series and a huge step-up from the disappointment that was last year's pack.
Tee K.O. 2 is an even better version of one of the greatest Jackbox games making this one of, if not the best Jackbox game ever made. (10/10)
Timejinx is another one of Jackbox's iconic gimmicky trivia games and it's easily one of the best. The game is extremely simple yet extremely fun if you love trivia. The gimmick of the timeline is super unique. (8.5/10)
I wasn't looking forward to Fixytext, but it is great. It's so chaotic yet, so fun. (8/10)
Dodo Re Mi is a Jackbox version of a rhythm game and its a fine attempt at one. I'm already not a huge fan of rhythm games but it was executed as well as a Jackbox rhythm game could. (6/10)
I was most excited for Hypnotorious and it was kinda disappointing tbh. It's kind of a mix between Faking It and Roomerang but I'd rather just play one of those. The concept of the game is good but doesn't really work that well in exectuion. It may be fun with a lot of people (I only played with 5) but I wouldn't recommend with smaller groups. (4/10)
One thing that kinda sucks about this pack is the price increase. If you didn't know, Jackbox packs were originally $25 but then $30 became the norm. Now, packs are going to cost $35 which kinda sucks. I am ok with it because it isn't TOO much of a price increase and I know Jackbox Games only releases one game a year. But, it's kinda lame. Because of the price increase, I can't recommend this pack over better packs like 3, 7, and 8.
TLDR: Pack is very solid but price is higher than other, better packs.
