The Walking Dead: 400 Days Review (Panda o' Plenty)
Telltale released this DLC between Seasion 1 and Season 2 as a way to "give fans more Walking Dead" and oops the magic is gone in this one. Oops.
Walking Dead excels in making you worry about relationship and well being of other survivors over long-term adventure. This one is a series of short adventures from multiple POV, that are in same location but separated by time. Such format fits better to wonderful worldbuilding. Which is a trap: The Walking Dead worldbuilding is just a generic zombie world you've seen times one thousands. Each hero story gets cut short as soon as it gets interesting. Uff.
Tho if you reaaaaallly want, you can check it, they did get to write asshole interactions or one-off surprises that wouldn't work in long-term adventure.
But since it all takes near the same location you think "surely every choice and adventure will amount to an interesting epilogue that will blow my mind"? Nope. No such thing. Just a score screen. Had no meaningful impact on Season 2 despite devs promises either.
