Warframe Review (BrewFlu)
I was having an issue where I could not purchase platinum because it said my region was suspended for purchases. I live in Vermont in the US. Both my Steam account and my gameplay settings in game show that I am in North American and United States. I have lived here my entire life.
I hadn't played Warframe in many years, but I watched some Youtube videos and saw how popular the game had become, so I decided to try it out again. After a few hours of playing, i bought the $25 DLC Tenno 2024 pack. I needed a few more platinum for the Warframe that I wanted to use so I tried to buy some, but the prices were in Rubles. It would not let me buy anything.
I contacted support asking for help, and the response was that there was nothing they can do and I should "make another ticket in a few months." They never asked me for more information or proof of residence or identification of any kind. No requests to see any of my steam account info. I have played dozens of games on Steam over the years and have never run into this problem or customer service this poor. It's a shame, because the game seems fun. I don't even care about the ability to purchase anymore. The response from support turned me off from the game completely. I have seen more of the same all over forums online. Therefore, I don't recommend.
