WWE 2K23 Review (Sausage)
over nearly a decade after WWE 12, Universe Mode still sucks ball
Edit because I want to put more thought into this, also excuse my English.
- Yes the game can be really fun if you play with family and friends, the controls are responsive and cleverly designed for newbies to just mash buttons. The game is fun and that's great.
Now to the bad:
- Lets me start with the damn promo system, supposedly they remove it because it doesn't work at all with the 2k20 game (then make it work). I understand that the promo itself was not very good but it's a good way to build up the rivalry. I don't want Roman Reign and John Cena go head to head every week on smackdown, in 2k19 you they would book promo between the Manager and the wrestler and it's great why cant we have that back.
- Now to rivalry system, what the hell happened? thing used to be so dynamic in WWE 12, sure its not the best thing but it fun and exciting like you never know whats gonna happened next. What with this strict ass 1on1 Rivalry, and all the storyline are the same too, no heel no babyface everybody just trynna break others legs up. Pair that with the stupid enemies and alliance system they have and you will get the same feud repeating every year. Aso bring back story collection from 2K15 please.
- "You know you can book them however you like right?" Yess and I love that they let us do that but I just want to sit back and enjoy the show, if I want to book for my enjoyment I would play GM or better booking game out there.
