Across the Obelisk: Amelia, the Queen Review (DanZinagri)
Seems alright for the most part. More insanity support with mages puts yet another slot into it so now you could have Nezglekt, Ameilia, and Gustav. but there's still not many cards for it so to deal actual mind damage you'll need to either get one of the new items for Chill to Insanity stack support, or use her cards that convert all damage into mind.
Overall with this and the last update it feels like the devs are desperately attempting to make cold/chill less awful and have any support. Shame that it seems in every single instance their only way to make it useful is to glue it onto other builds.
The new pet is legitimately the better part, you can actually ignore the character. It purges buffs from enemies, and later steals them if you can upgrade it. The insanity stacks work with anyone already building those, and the chill stacks then just become a neat bonus on top of this pet. It means Oculy, Betty, and now this pet allow for you to have 3 characters applying insanity.
Biggest downside to this character is if you're filling the wizard slot Willbur is just gonna be the better choices because he's a god-tier mana-battery, and on higher difficulties thanks to stacks having caps having 3 characters applying insanity becomes somewhat pointless and you instead need to diversify your debuffs.
Legitmately the best part of this update is the fact that maps now can have warp points to swap sides of the map so more routing choices can exist now; but thats not part of this DLC so its debatable.
