Meet Your Maker Review (Lamb Sauce)
Played since beta with about 20-50 hours in the beta alone. good concept but the level building is flawed. there is nothing to stop or de-incentivize players from making kill box bases flooded with corrosive cubes(which have the lowest cost of any trap and are indestructible). this results in any base on 'Brutal" difficulty just being extremely cheesy bases with little thought or creativity put into them. as a result the actual fun of the game is extremely short lived. the only reason to play on any base difficulty lower than "brutal" is so that you can learn the ropes (which only takes maybe an hour or two max) after that any lower difficulty bases is laughably easy to complete seeing as the builders literally do not have the base capacity to place enough traps/guards to be a threat beyond the first wave. The result is you either willingly play extremely easy bases or you play extremely cheesy bases on "brutal". It removes and sense of challenge or accomplishment from raiding. You can try to build your own fun base but there is no reason to when the META is just to use the cheap costing corrosive cubes as a means to deny ammo retrieval as well as create entire floors made of lava. this was already an major issue in the beta and wasn't addressed in anyway. Maybe like DBD it will get better with time but just like DBD it's first iteration is deeply flawed and easily exploited.
TLDR: not worth buying in it's current state. the only options for raiding bases are basically baby's first base or a kill box spammed with lava cubes and tracking plasma eye traps in a large open room. No actual challenge, no sense of accomplishment, extremely slow and unrewarding progression system as well.
