Crazy Banana
Fast paced platform shooter, where your best friend is banana - Pedro.
You start in an old town. Just don’t ask why are you here and why your best friend Pedro is a banana. Listen to his briefing for the basics controls, and you can jump straight into the action. The game has a story, but it's only in the background. You will not pay attention to it much. Fast-paced platform shooter combined with parkour is what is about this game. You need to think and act fast if you want to complete a level with a good rating. Levels are short but intense. You will test your skills, reaction time and nerves. In the beginning, you will die often, especially if you choose a higher difficulty, but you will learn fast how to properly control the main character and all that style movements from screenshots on the store page. Controlling is easy but hard to master. Sometimes, jumping on a higher platform made me angry because the main character didn't want to jump on it. He bounced back instead.
At the start, you have two pistols. Each can aim on a different target Later, you will get more weapons: dual SMG, shotgun, sniper rifle and assault rifle with a grenade launcher. Firearms are not the only weapons in the game. There is an environment with throwable objects that can help with neutralizing enemies, or you can use good old feet to kick their ass. After each level, you can save the best moment into a gif, or if you enable Shadowplay on the NVIDIA graphics card, you can save videos of the best moments. Levels are divided into 6 chapters. Each will get you to a new location with new enemies and ends with a boss fight. Levels are designed well and along with a nice soundtrack are amusing. Only voice acting is missing here. There are not a lot of texts, but listing a voice actor would be better than reading speech bubbles. I only disliked the 5th chapter because of those damn electric and fire traps :).
I enjoyed My Friend Pedro. It’s a good game. If you like platform shooters, take a look at this game. It’s short but worth to play.
