theHunter: Call of the Wild - Emerald Coast Australia Review (Chief Spreading Bull)
PROS:
+ Animal Selection: Emerald Coast holds the distinction of being the only map in the game to have an animal in each Class, through granted half of them are deer or are imported from other maps and the Kangaroo and Magpie Goose are the only really new animals introduced.
+ Game Wardens: Emerald Coast features two of them and their banter is just adorable.
+ Map Design: Emerald Coast harkens back to the days of Vurhonga Savannah where instead of a monotonous single biome like Mississipi Acres or New England Mountains it instead houses three distinct habitats stitched together by transitional zones, with a vast open plains in the south, rainforest swamp in the center and cloud forest up north and coastal mangroves in the East. And the outposts are diverse; You have mobile RVs in the middle of the rainforest, quaint cottages on the outback, stilt houses overlooking a swamp to an actual motel with a bar.
+ Well-Populated: Like the Silver Ridge Peaks, you won't lack for targets on this map. In fact if you walk down the beach, you can slaughter crocodiles by the dozen and earn a small fortune.
Cons:
- .22-250 Zagan-Varminter: Its essentially a .223 Docent with a mild buff to penetration. Its good enough for Red Fox but I wouldn't gamble with it on Feral Goat or Deer unless you want a long walk to pick up your kill.
- Story: Continuing with the trend of Revontuli Coast, there's really none to speak of. You're there for pest control and that's it.
