Town of Salem Review ( Maximum Glove Gaming )
Used to be fun, but now the player base has become too good and it's impossible for new/casual players to have fun.
Only gamemode that's played anymore is chaos, which is impossible for new/unskilled players to have any fun in. It's hard enough as it is for new players to learn the game, but having classic modes dead and chaos the only thing played, there is absolutely no hope for anyone who isn't Sherlock Holmes to have fun.
I sat in a classic mode lobby for about 2 minutes and not a single person joined, yet I can get a chaos mode match in less than 30 seconds (most times). First game I get mayor and barely say anything, yet somehow get left alone until the very end of the game. During that match on day 2, everyone was deducing exactly how many of each role was in the lobby, who the potential mafia members were, what roles the people who got stoned by Medusa were, and so on and so forth.
Second game I get arsonist and someone apparently deduced my role night 1 and get insta lynched day 2. Apparently the average skill level of people in non-ranked gameplay has risen so high that people might as well know everyone's role before the game even starts.
Ultimately, it WAS fun, but has become impossible to have any fun with, ESPECIALLY as an evil role. There is a very high chance that someone will figure out your role in 1-2 nights and kill you super quick. Classic mode has become too easy for the more seasoned players, so chaos is the only way to play and you have to have decent game knowledge to play it while having any idea what's going on.
